Condace Pressley
Proven leader and award-winning journalist with decades of experience in broadcasting and community service. In this new role, Condace Pressley leads CMG Atlanta's community efforts across media platforms including WSB TV, the Atlanta Journal Constitution and CMG Atlanta's four radio stations.
Most recently, Condace Pressley used her knowledge of news and radio programming as manager of programming operations and community affairs for News 95.5 and AM750 WSB. In her professional toolbox are superior skills for identifying, recruiting and retaining talent; mentoring and developing talent and driving for results.
Condace Pressley is a 2019 inductee to the Georgia Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame; a 2016 career achievement inductee into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame; a 2016 graduate of Leadership Atlanta; and a Centennial class honoree of The University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
As President of the National Association of Black Journalists, Pressley turned around a multi-million dollar nonprofit nearing bankruptcy. Her two-year term ended with the organization reporting a surplus.
A nationally recognized expert on issues of newsroom diversity, Condace speaks extensively on the subject and has been published numerous times.
Pressley is skilled at strategic research and planning and analysis of audience research data. She has developed and managed internship programs; created radio and new media student educational programming for nonprofit organizations and launched news and programming content on digital platforms.
Pressley is an active Leadership Atlanta volunteer and serves on the Atlanta Crime Stoppers Advisory Board. Pressley previously served on the boards of Girls' Inc., YWCA of Northwest Georgia, The Georgia Ballet and Hosea Helps, including a year as Board Chair.
