Jeanice Hardy
As Regional Director of Homeless Services in King County, Jeanice Hardy oversees a wide portfolio of YWCA’s housing and homelessness programs in the region, from emergency shelter to eviction prevention. With more than 25 years of experience delivering critical community services at YWCA, she has helped thousands of low-income women and families overcome barriers to housing stability.
Jeanice is a committed advocate who works in partnership with government agencies, service providers, and community supporters to call for changes to policies and processes that promote racial and gender equity in housing. Previously, she was an entrepreneur who started a company that provided employment services for low-income BIPOC women to build job skills and self-sufficiency.
